For marketing purposes, please provide a brief and inviting description of your workshop including 1) the general focus, 2) a list of the topics to be covered, 3) why/how it fits into faculty needs, and 4) meeting dates and times with total hours of participation (these hours may include concluding projects).*

Budget and Resources

Faculty Commons facilitator compensation is based on contact hours plus 2 hours for reporting at the end of the workshop. Facilitators are paid a rate of $40/hour. However, the number of registered participants may require a different, negotiated pay rate. Determine your contact hours and add 2 hours for post-workshop work.*

Describe how you have determined your contact hours. Contact hours may include time in the workshop or time managing workshop-related content (such a making copies, updating CANVAS, meeting with participants outside the workshop hours, etc...)*

If this is a new course, you can be compensated for your workshop development time. Please indicate the approximate range of time you expect to spend. You will confirm the time with the Director, and be compensated at $40.00 per hour.

Describe how you have determined your preparation hours. These hours may include developing a CANVAS course, choosing readings, developing specific content, and other steps necessary to run a workshop for the first time.

Please list the estimated cost of materials and/or resources to fund your proposal.
